It’s the Season for…Dental Visits?

Posted .

This time of the year, you are probably thinking about parties, family gatherings, and other holiday activities. Visiting the dentist may be the farthest thing from your mind right now, but it might be the best time for you and your family to schedule an appointment.

During this time of the year, many kids are out of school, and adults are taking extra vacation time, or using up the vacation time they have accrued. So, schedules may be a little more flexible, and even if the dentist is booked up, you might be able to get in, should there be a cancellation. You may have some downtime during the holidays, and if you need a dental procedure, such as a root canal or a filling, you will have more time to relax and recover, instead of having to dive right back into work or school. If you have noticed a problem with your mouth or teeth, you will want to have that issue addressed, instead of trying to suffer through the holidays.

It is a good idea to see your dentist every six months for your routine cleaning and exam. The end or the start of the year is a good time to schedule that visit. Planning your dental visits now will make it easier to remember to schedule your regular dental visit.

If you are dealing with a dental problem right now, or just want to start the New Year off with a healthy smile, our dentist, Dr. Brandon Burger will be happy to see you. If you live in the Hermitage, Tennessee area and would like to make an appointment at Brandon Burger, DDS, call 615-889-8202 today. We’re looking forward to your visit!
